The Welcome Party Dance Social is nine to midnight on Friday, March 14 in Winnett Lounge at Cal Tech. The actual competition is in Brown Gymnasium and lasts from 8:30am to 10:30pm Saturday. Events include both International and America events for individuals, nightclub dances, and some fun events that are open to all collegiate and non-collegiate dancers. This year’s showcase is an exhibition of Modern Jive. Both CCBDC’s Made in the 80s medley and CCBDC’s Harry Potter medley will compete in the formation team event that evening. CCBDC greatly appreciated all the support for the last competition. Come cheer us on again, and don’t forget to wear your jacket. For more information, contact david.carrington@claremontballroom.org.

Dancers and Donors Dine TogetherThis Thursday, President Oxtoby invited CCBDC to perform at his annual reception for Granite and Sagebrush, The Bequest Society of Pomona College. This luncheon is a special recognition for those who included Pomona in their estate plans, and CCBDC will perform 4 routines. Our company members also get to mingle with the guests, answer questions and even participate in a light-hearted social dance. CCBDC is honored to have the opportunity to thank the generous patrons of Pomona college.
