The Claremont Colleges Ballroom Dance Company

This week, tour team members prepare for the Dance of the Roses, a competition hosted by California Institute of Technology. The Welcome Party Dance Social is nine to midnight on Friday, March 14 in Winnett Lounge at Cal Tech. The actual competition is in Brown Gymnasium and lasts from 8:30am to 10:30pm Saturday. Events include both International and America events for individuals, nightclub dances, and some fun events that are open to all collegiate and non-collegiate dancers. This year’s showcase is an exhibition of Modern Jive. Both CCBDC’s Made in the 80s medley and CCBDC’s Harry Potter medley will compete in the formation team event that evening.
